Hen House Study Week 3 Re-Cap

Oh my stinkin' heck!  Dare I say this was the best H.H.S. yet?!

If there is ONE thing we living in these rural parts of the world get excited about, it's cars!  Cars bring visitors.  These cars were at my house full of sweet gals coming to read the bible with me.
Enter Jaci's Cooper.  It's tiny.  It's hip.  It's my favorite color of blue.  It's the car we all wish we had.
To my astonishment, these gals have been avidly reading my blog.  It's nice to know my posts aren't  depositing into a dark void.  The best part about this is most of them started talking about my living room project before they put a single paw in the house.  It was exciting.  I love them.
I want to share the feedback I received.  I'm all about keeping you in the loop.  This is Sara Daffodil.  She thinks I need to hang a shelf on the east half wall of the living room.  Sara also suggests a long shelf in place of the rose picture behind her.  I can't remember if she suggested I lose the rose picture.  I'll get back to you on that.  Thanks, Sara Daffodil for your ideas.  I loved them.  And I loved your hair.  And pink stripes really work on you.
Attention Mama-Sita, Jamie Bean and Lindsey Rachel Ray: My metal tumbleweed (your gift to me) was a smashing favorite.  A few ladies couldn't wait to see it and wanted it. Carol, my honored guest, had an idea to make a light out of it and hang it from the ceiling in place of the ceiling fan.  What say you folks?  Anyway, the tumbleweed stays per popular demand.
"They come, they eat, they leave.  They come, they eat, they leave."  Name that movie.  I love that movie.  I love these women.  You are seeing precious souls in my kitchen.

Give me an "H!", give me an "A!", give me an "I!", give me an "R!".  HAIR!  Go-o-o-o-o-o HAIR!  This is Ashley Tulip's new "do".  It is a marvelous "Marilyn" look and she rocks it.  Jesse also loved it.  She relates to those feeling superb after the groomers.
Good Lord.
I'm a sucker for this baby.
He's put me in a pit.
He breaks all my concentration.
He's given me a wicked wave of baby fever.  It hurts.
Now on the scene: Elisha Hyacinth.  She is the wife of Matt.  They successfully run the UtahStangs club.  If you own a Ford Mustang, they are THE connection and I was thrilled Elisha came.  She liked my wine rack.  There's no wine in it.  So she suggested I hang something inside intermittently at different lengths like those decorative hanging balls you see in every store with decor crap.

Did I say "balls"?  Did I say "crap"?  I'm sorry.  Cover your childrens ears.  This is suppose to be a family-friendly blog.

Back to the wine rack: Here are other suggestions I received last night:

  • Carol Amaryllis: Instal hanging lights inside.
  • Jeanette Chrysanthemum: Put christmas lights inside empty bottles and hang them.
  • Elisha Hyacinth: plants/flowers inside.

Believe it or not, we did get some studying done.  Carrie Snap Peas, will you prove to the people we DID read the bible?

"Hi, this is Carrie Snap Peas, I'm so excited to be here. This is a picture of me demonstrating in the air how "reaper" is written in Hebrew: "קָצַר".  I hope you like my cute orange hoodie.  I'm just happy to be here."

Thanks Carrie Snap Peas.  I'd be lost without you and your homemade iced chai's.

This is the part that makes my heart pound and world go 'round.....women IN the Word.  Muscling through.  "They hack it out of the wilderness with their own two hands, burying their children along the way!!!!"  Name that movie.
See that pretty lady in the purple blouse?  Her name is Carol Amaryllis.  She is a teacher.  She attended.  She was HERE.  She was an honored guest.  She taught us things.  Things like Hebrew meanings of words.  Words like "Qatsar" which have meanings like "to cut down".  Thanks for coming Carol Amaryllis.  We all gleaned from your comments.
F.Y.I....We are not without fashion here at Hen House Study.  For instance, check out Chelsey Rose's turquoise shoes.  "Nordstrom Rack" she said.  The shoes were the perfect finish with her turquoise blouse.  My eye catches ANYTHING turquoise.
Ashley Tulip's cool hanging earrings.  Lime green, my latest favorite color.  So cute.
I couldn't let Ashely Tulip leave without snapping a photo of her purse.  She is going to begin making and selling these in the future.  They are fan-tab-ulous.  If you don't think that's cute, there's something wrong with you.
I love each of these ladies so, so, so, so much.  I'm glad no one else brought any babies.  I don't think I could work under those conditions.

Next Hen House Study is June 23rd.  Same time.  Same place.  Same overweight hostess.

Until next time,
Lowe-Dub
